We have started to let my daughter cook simple things with us in the kitchen. Not only is she learning about kitchen safety, food prep, and what goes into making a meal; but we are also spending quality time together! Below is her favorite scramble eggs recipe that includes cheese and is always a delicious breakfast! It is pretty easy to make, and now she can cook it all by herself in the morning!

Scrambled Eggs with Cheese

We have started to let my daughter cook simple things with us in the kitchen. Not only is she learning about kitchen safety, food prep, and what goes into making a meal; but we are also spending quality time together! Below is one of her favorite breakfast recipes. It is pretty easy to make, and now she can cook it all by herself in the morning!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/4 cup Shredded Cheese
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • splash of Water or Milk

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl crack the 2 eggs.
  • Add salt and pepper. Beat with fork.
  • Add a splash of water or milk.
  • Stir in the shredded cheese.
  • Put tablespoon of oil in pan over Medium heat.
  • Pour egg/cheese mixture into pan. Stir constantly with spatula until done.

Notes

You could add ham or fresh tomatoes too. Just add them first in the pan and cook them over medium heat for a couple of minutes.
