However, the problem is that some people just take them and leave them there. But there is so much you can do with them! You want to make the most out of your photos by surrounding yourself with happy memories and pictures that make you smile. Print Your Photos
One of the first things you can do is get your photos printed. You can go old school and have them printed to make your own photo albums and scrapbooks. These special books are often filled with favorite memories and pictures of your kids growing up. It provides not only something fun to look at, but also something that you can give to them when they are older. You can also have your photos printed into books directly. So rather than spending time doing it all yourself, you can choose the images you want to be featured, and they can be made into a little photo book for you. A fun idea is to make one photo book each year and keep them as yearly memories you can look back on.

Having things printed doesn’t stop with just your typical 4×6 framed picture. You can also get your photos printed onto all sorts of different items. There are lots of printing places that can put your images on almost anything. It could be a mouse mat for dad while he is at work. A mug for grandad. And a pillow for grandma, or a calendar for mom. The possibilities and options are endless! Not only are these items fun, or sometimes even useful, but hey also make thoughtful and fabulous gifts for birthdays and Christmas time.

Another feature that phones now offer is to have live photos. They are the moments where you take photos that last a few seconds. They stay as a static picture. But sometimes you might capture a chuckle from your baby. Their first steps. Or simply just something so funny and heartwarming you want to keep it as a moving picture. If you have some beautiful images, but they are too dark, they can be fixed! Or if you are at the beach and the background is just full of other people. You can make your objects stand out and look better by editing your photos slightly. You don’t want to over-edit them as they will just look strange. But to make it look good from poor lighting you can increase the sharpness, brightness and exposure to make your photo look a lot better. If you use the app Lightroom and the tool ‘heal’ it can remove the pesky people from the background, and just have it focused on you and your family. Same for in play areas, or anywhere else that you don’t want to be sharing images with other people’s children in.
