Steps for Fingerprint Easter Egg Craft
1. Boil the eggs until they’re hard boiled and then leave them somewhere to cool down.
2. Set out your acrylic paints into different pots. Dip your thumb into the paint and stamp it onto the egg. {If you are making bunny rabbits or chicks, then do one thumb stamp for the body, followed by a fingerprint above it for the head. To make carrots you will need three fingerprints, one on top of the other, in orange.}
3. After the paint has dried, add in the faces and legs using marker pens. {For the bunny rabbit you could draw on their ears, some eyes, and a little nose. For the chick add on eyes, a beak, and some little legs. Check out masandpas.com for additional photo examples.}
And there you go! In just 5 minutes you’ll have some fun and pretty Easter egg decorations!
